“ We decided to try this place out for brunch today, as it’s my son’s birthday. Very, very impressed with the food, atmosphere, music, and customer service! Itzel was our waitress and she was amazing and checked on us numerous times (which is so rare these days!). She suggested great drinks and food and had a smile on her face the entire time. The young man, checking on refills was also very friendly, as were the rest of the staff. It is a small restaurant and it was busy the entire time we were there! My son, the foodie, gave his Cali burrito a 10/10. We also ordered esquites, tacos de papa, a variety of tacos (the queso birria was my favorite!!) and a birria grilled cheese. Make sure to try their pineapple habanero salsa ”

“ Several other business owners and locals in the area recommended Picante to us. I do follow them on social media to watch for specials and menu changes. The evening we decided to visit, we were quickly informed that they were working with a rather large party at the time, so our wait time would be a little longer. We were completely fine with that. The restaurant was packed and seating limited. Despite it being busy the staff was super attentive. Initially, we were sat at the window. However, after another family left the quickly moved us to that booth to be more comfortable. I came in already knowing what I was going to order - the Grilled Cheese Birria! Our entire party ended up with birria in some form. Hubby - El Torero Burrito, and the youngest had the Birria Plate dinner. We were given chips, salsa and beans to start. The beans were a first for me - usually just receive salsa at most places. The chips were fresh and the salsa was not too spicy. The food was amazing, and we didn't have to wait too long. We would definitely recommend, and will be returning on another visit. ”

Words cannot describe how satisfied we are with both the service and the amazing food. The dishes are fantastic representations of Mexican culture, and the spicy sauce and traditional offerings make this place even better. The music adds to the great vibe! “ This is the real deal.... Listen up, you want yummy deliciously seasoned tacos not coated in grease ? With hand made corn tortillas, and the most mouth watering variety of salsas to top it off with.... (Pina is pineapple salsa, salsa verde, molcajete, and diablo are the ones I tried they are all amazing pina salsa makes me want to pour that in a cup and drink it yes, it’s that good)This is the spot! Customer service is outstanding very kind people. I don’t usually leave reviews but good food and service deserves to be recognized. They have seating inside and outside and yes there’s a cover over it super cute. Chips with salsa and beans are given as you get seated they are the preview of the Flavor that is to come. Prices are more than fair as they give a very realistic amount of food for the price. Personal note shout out to the owners and cooks THANK YOU!!!! I have not had a good taco in so long thank you for having such good flavor and love for good food keep that passion !!! ”

“ Been wanting to try this place and finally made it today. So glad we did because this place is truly delicious. So let me start by raving about the tacos. That hand made tortilla is truly a game changer. Meats were really tender, super tender and very well seasoned. The hubby got the chile relleno and it was very tasty. Drinks were to die for including the alcoholic beverage. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great and very clean. Highly recommend this establishment. ”

“ We recently visited Picante Mexican Taqueria after hearing so many great things, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and the outstanding customer service continued throughout our visit. The staff made it a point to welcome every customer as they entered, which set a friendly and inviting tone. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a good vibe that made the dining experience enjoyable. However, I rated food 4 stars because of a small hiccup with the menu. I ordered pozole, but they only had the chicken version available at the time. While it was tasty, I personally prefer the classic pork pozole and missed that option. I also tried a taco, and while it didn’t completely win me over, the guacamole on it was the real star. It was so fresh and flavorful that it truly elevated the taco! It’s definitely worth trying for the guacamole alone. That being said, the overall experience was positive, and we’re looking forward to returning to try more items from their menu. With such friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and stand-out flavors like their guacamole, we’re optimistic about exploring their other offerings. ”

“ Picante has so many options of amazing food to choose from cheesy birria tacos to amazing burritos and even fried Smores and Pb&J deserts that go amazing with the Augua Fresca de horchata they also have many amazing cocktails to choose from If you’re looking for a new spot to check out I definitely recommend coming here amazing food and service. The patio just opened up so they also have outside seating with a stage for the events they host. The inside is really cute gives off a family friendly vibe the red and black stands out with the amazing art on the walls it gives you something to look at while dining in. Picante also host car shows to the public during the summer time and many other free events put on to bring the community together through out the year ”

“ Looking for something new we decided to come here based on Google reviews. Everything was great. Chips and salsa came with refried beans (both the salsa and beans were delicious). I chose the taco meal my wife chose a Colima burrito (with shrimp). The tacos were served on homemade corn tortilla shells. My only comment was they could have used a little more onions and cilantro or Cole slaw. Otherwise they were tasty. My wife’s burrito wins the best bite award. The servers brought out 4 or 5 picante sauce options. I like the pina. We sat on the red tarp covered patio so pics are a little rose tinted. We will go back again for sure. Oh I forgot about the agua fresca - strawberry and lime. It was so good too. We’ve been back several times. El Torero burrito is served with consome - so yummy! Colima is still my wife’s fav. ”
